A few months ago, I noticed that there were a lot of commercials on that asked if viewers had any vaginal mesh implant complications. At the time, I had no idea what this was for, and I thought it sounded pretty strange. I was on the phone with a friend and she told me that this is usually used to help women that have experienced a vaginal prolapse. This what not something I had heard of before either, so I was even more confused after talking to her.
I am a naturally curious person, so it was natural that I get on the Internet and try to understand more about this. Apparently some women experience weakness in their vaginal walls and/or prolapsing of their pelvic organs. When this happens, there is a surgical mesh implanted to hold everything in place. Now I am no doctor, so this is a very wondrous process to me.

The first thing that came to mind was that the only way to get this was by engaging in intercourse entirely too much. That shows you that I have no idea when it comes to women’s bodies. Apparently, you can experience a pelvic prolapse from having children, being obese and several other ways. The article I read informed me that many women will experience this at some point in their lives, but it is not always the same severity in each woman.
Now that I grasped the medical reasons for getting the mesh, I wanted to find out about the complications that can occur. From what I understand, women can have any combination of symptoms including bleeding and recurrent prolapses. It is terrible when something that is supposed to help you makes your health even worse.

Most women that have complained about vaginal mesh implant complications have had a lot of bleeding. This is usually caused when the mesh starts to erode and the rough edges perforate the lining of the vagina and the organs that are located close to it. As a result, many women have complained of pain while having intercourse, infections and urinary issues.
A couple of years ago the FDA found that people who had mesh inserted to repair pelvic prolapse were not any better off than those that have had the problem repaired by other means. This means that thousands of women have suffered due to using a product that does not do the job that it was meant to do.
If you have had any vaginal mesh implant complications, you should get in touch with a lawyer as soon as you can. if you wait around and do absolutely nothing, it will lower your chances of being successful in winning part of a class action lawsuit.
